MY First OPPORTUNITY

The primary goal of the “MY First OPPORTUNITY” Project is to improve the quality of primary inclusive education and create equal conditions for the psychosocial development of children through coordinated care and multisectoral cooperation. The implementation of the project directly contributes to the improvement of the quality of the inclusive educational process, with a focus on children with developmental difficulties in the mentioned institutions.

The Section for Local Economic Development and European Integration is the project coordinator for Bijeljina and, in addition to this project, also coordinates the implementation of the “Chance for an IT Start” project within the same program. The Centre for Social Work is a partner in this project.

The “MY First OPPORTUNITY” project is implemented as part of the program “Framework for the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals as a Foundation for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth in Bosnia and Herzegovina (SDG2BiH),” which is funded by the Government of Sweden and implemented by UNDP in partnership with UNICEF and UNWOMEN in BiH, under the coordination of the UN Resident Coordinator Office.
