Three-year indicative financial plans for the implementation of the Strategy
Local Development Strategy of the City of Bijeljina 2014-2023 (revised for the period 2019-2023) is the key strategic-planning document of the City of Bijeljina, which should encourage community’s future growth and development.
Local Development Strategy includes social and economic sphere, as well as aspects of protection and improvement of environment. The Strategy was prepared as a framework to define joint goals, encourage local incentives, and as a response to the challenges of the future development of the city and life in the city, as revised for the period 2019-2023.
The goal of the strategic document is to encourage all important participants to think and contribute to the more efficient decision making related to the implementation of strategic priorities of economic development, social development, and environmental protection, all in the framework of three defined strategic goals, and 11 sectoral goals.
It is important to point out that the Strategy includes a list of priority programmes and projects in each sector, which enable the achievement of the set goals through implementation of operational activities, thus creating a base for the overall implementation of the Strategy.
According to the three-year indicative plan for the implementation of the Local Development Strategy of the City of Bijeljina for the period 2022-2024 it is planned to implement 56 projects, with a total value of BAM 39,413,006.00.
