Cycling to health and environmental responsibility

Almost 250 cyclists from Bijeljina of all ages took part in the ride called 20 for Health on approximately 20 kilometres long route from the Square kralja Petra I Karađorđevića to Eco-visitor Centre Jezera. Promotional bike ride is a regular part of European Mobility Week, held in Bijeljina for the fifth time, with an aim to point to the importance of using alternative means of transport, for health and for environment and economy, and also the inclusion of all parts of society in the life of community.
After the ride, for all cyclists, socialising and awarding of symbolic rewards was organised at the Eco-visitor Centre.
European Mobility Week and the 20 for Health is organised by the Section for Local Economic Development and European Integration of the City Administration this year, with the support of numerous sponsors and partners.
